I don't eat fast food anymore if I can help it. Those places have the lowest grade meat and highest fat count, and the mass produced meat industry exists soley because of fast food joints, and if another one opens, the more demand they have for cheap chemical meat.
If fast food places didn't exist, meat wouldn't be nearly as bad for you. It's those places that have started this obesity epidemic, cause they tell you to eat massive amounts of food because it's only 39¢ extra, so why not? I don't know why people don't question the quality of the meat when they get a 99¢ double cheeseburger. Somethings wrong somewhere. Fast food joints are an atrocious addition to our world and the more of them that close, the better.
I can see your point about supporting fast food joints that have veggie choices, but the fact that BK has a veggie burger still doesn't make me wanna eat there. I'll suggest veggie burgers to the Irish Pub in my neighborhood, or go to my local diner for a veggie burger and pay twice as much before I'd go to BK.
Whew! I feel better.
