Do you have any info that debunks the claim that it is linked to cancer?

I think that's fair.

What do they say about a cheeseburger's links to cancer?

What's so stupid about that? They made a cautious statement, saying that all the effects are not yet known. The same could be said for just about everything we eat, veg*n or otherwise.

The only problem I see with that page is that they don't even try to research the actual article that was presented. Those kind of email forwards are often fakes, and I'm surprised they didn't try to track down anyone involved with it.

I agree with the others, I don't see anything wrong with it.

I don't like the mindset that anything not animal/vegetarian-friendly is automatically bad and anything animal/vegetarian-friendly is automatically good.

Yeah, what they said.

Also, people who think soy is bad aren't necessarily anti-vegetarian (though many are.) It's perfectly possible to be a healthy happy veg*n without consuming soy, and many people are doing just that.

Eating a lot of anything can be bad... it's not like a vegetarian diet consists 100% of soy

There's a lot of things that can cause cancer... one's breathing, the other's eating.
