Ingredients

2x2.5cm/1in thick rounds Christmas puddings

2x85g/3oz balls of vanilla ice cream

3 medium eggs, whites only

55g/2oz caster sugar

http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/da...ake_2359.shtml

These are just two recipies i found when doing a search, for VEGAN recipies.

Notice the use of eggs so what is a vegan, on thier planet???

The cook, that is mentioned, is a favourite, in the UK. Not one of mine, tho. It seems to me incredible, that still, we have to explain, the meaning of the word...EDUCATION.

I am sickened and appauled, by the blatant lack of understanding, from your chefs. After doing a search, for vegan recipies, i am amazed to find, not one but two, recipies, that have eggs in them.[im sure there are more] As a vegan, i expect your recipies to be animal free, this includes no meat, and or dairy/eggs, and i do not see fit to include, these recipies, until they are changed.. Please, will someone educate, your producers and chefs.

Here is a copy of the complaint i sent.

You could just eat around the egg whites.

Their search has a check box for vegetarian, but not vegan. How did you do the search? I'm confused as to how it is labeled as vegan.

Hey Thalia, i just typed in "VEGAN RECIPIES", in the search box and hey presto, nobody did.

I watched THIS VERY prog, once, on a rainy hour, between eating my pyjama fluff and, anyway, there was a person on, and they said they were VEGAN....WOOOOO AND LAUGHTER FROM THE AUDIENCE, everything went well, till the f***n chef [pictured] put in GELATINE[ i kid you not] so it would bind better. +

I rest my case.
