I guess technically semen is neither vegan or vegetarian, since it is an animal product, but semen technically is not alive either. Life does not start until semen fertilizes an egg. (im not trying to make a political statement here because it i know it sounds like it)

Interesting too are viruses, they are not alive until they have infected a cell. Red blood cells also are not alive, but a product of animals, unlike brain cells which are living cells. semen is basically encapsulated genetic material that requires items from an female egg to produce a life form.

In the Old Testament spilling of semen (i.e. not inside a living willing vagina) was considered not necessarily a sin, but inadvisable due to Jewish cultural law, which is the source of the original position of the Catholic Church to condemn masturbation and birth control. ..however there's no real Christian basis for this being an actual sin, since it doesn't break any of the Ten Commandments, nor did Jesus ever discuss it as an issue. And in this world of 7 billion people, we hardly are hurting for babies.

I'm not sure how ethical of a vegetarian you could be if you coerce your loved ones into doing things they do not want to do. Telling your gf to "swallow it and get over it already" borders on sexual or emotional abuse, there's a much more loving way to inform her that as long as there is consent it can't be animal exploitation.

It wasn't about sexual abuse, and you don't need to know ghostuser, just get what's worth taking seriously, and what's not.

'Ghostuser' wasn't their user name....I think some people got called that after some software update, or maybe their account had been deleted.

For the love of all that is sensible, can we just let this thread sink back out of sight?
