Oct. 1st is World Vegetarian Day
October 1st, 2016 marks the 40th annual World Vegetarian Day!
Since 1977, World Vegetarian Day (October 1st) and Vegetarian Month (all of October) have inspired vegetarian festivals and events throughout the world. You can check for events near you on Google.
In the Los Angeles area of California, the "Vegan Oktoberfest" is happening on October 15th: http://www.veganoktoberfest.com/
In the Orange County area of California, the "SoCal Veg Fest" is happening on October 29th and 30th: http://socalvegfest.org/

Coming up on November 1st is World Vegan Day.
