They can ridicule all they want.

We are not eating dead animals.

We are actually exhibiting compassion, rather than selling out to low life marketing techniques.

And we have the satisfaction of outliving most of their customers.

All animals should be respected & should have the ability to lead a natural & enjoyable life. This means not eating them, or abusing them in any way.

The Happy Healthy Vegan YouTubers made a response video:

_________

Specific recommendations for a healthy diet include: eating more fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts and grains; cutting down on salt, sugar and fats. It is also advisable to choose unsaturated fats, instead of saturated fats and towards the elimination of trans-fatty acids."

Anytime I think I'm perfect, I remember that my cousin lives on an island, and I've never walked over to visit her.

Jon Stewart had it right all along. I will say that while I hate Arby's, the video is great (because: Jon Stewart).

Doesn't make me mad, it looks to me like progress. If I have that Gandhi quote right: First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. That suggests things are moving in the right direction. Probably time to start getting ready for the fight...

No, Arby's, I am not tempted by pieces of flesh stripped from the belly of an innocent and highly intelligent animal, then cured with carcinogenic nitrates and fried at free radical creating high heats.

Not in the slightest.

Not everyone in the world eats cruelly and with harm to themselves out of a mindless habit.

This is offensive - it's not socially acceptable to advertise like this when it's muslims, black people or gay people - why does the world feel it is ok to direct these sort of things towards vegans/vegetarians?

It seems vegans and vegetarians are the only minority you can openly make fun of now.

For what it's worth, this ad campaign is not targeted at vegetarians. It's targeted at meat-eaters who think vegetarians are stupid. Not that this is great, but I'm positive the Arby's corporate execs don't expect to convert any herbivores back into meat-eating.

Good thing because it was an epic fail if that is what it was meant to do.
