My significant other is amazing in so many ways and is more dedicated to me than I ever thought a person could be. He is adamantly a meat eater, so much so that I have no expectation that he will change. Anyway I thought a thread about vegetarians who love meat-eaters might be comforting... or enlightening. Stories anyone?

I've been married to an omni for 8 years and we've been together for over 10. I was vegetarian when we met so she has never known me as a meat eater - I turned vegetarian about 3 months before we met.

We never have a problem because she eats what she wants but she also cooks vegetarian food for me. She's very supportive and goes out of her way to find and cook vegetarian food for me. What more can I ask?!

I'm not a fussy vegetarian and it doesn't bother me at all to see meat being cooked or eaten. I have to remind myself that I was omni for 28 years and I cannot start hating omnis simply because I no longer am one. If eating meat is a flaw, I would much rather have a happy and healthy relationship with a meat eater than an unhappy one with a fellow vegetarian.
