why are they not selling veggies in school?!?!?! its sad to see veggies mixed with chicken or beef....i think schools should be sensitive to the food preferences of students having vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. put a vegetarian corner please!

another horror...is that i'm the only vegetarian in my class and i really feel scared everytime they plan about fieldtrips..christmas parties because it involves food and sometimes forgot about my food preferences.

I would suggest talking to the chefs about offering some veggie friendly options. Try mentioning that some people are more likely to eat this food if they want to be healthier. You are right; the school should be sensitive to other people's eating habits. They wouldn't offer just things that contain nuts and say "oh that's too bad for all of you who are allergic to nuts." It is the same sort of deal here. May I ask if you are in high school or college?
