Hi,

Wondering if the people on this forum read the vegan forum too, (and if I am wasting my time when I sometimes post similar things in both places).

Yea...my final goal is to become vegan, and I admire veganism, so i find it interesting to read

I just hit the "new posts" button and go from there. I don't really care about what forum it's posted in, if it's interesting.

Also, I am pretty much vegan anyway so I think it's appropriate for me to go to both forums.

Posting the same thing in multiple sections of VB is almost always unnecessarily redundant.

But it's not the same thing. The OP wanted to know if vegetarians read the vegan forum and if vegans read the vegetarian forum.

I'm a "new posts" reader, too. I don't rally care in which forum a subject originated, but I do go and check the forum if the discussion gets heated - just to make sure it's appropriate.

I wasn't referring to this thread and its counterpart in the vegan forum. I was talking about the comment in the original post of this thread, about whether or not it's a waste of time to post similar things in both.

Oh, sorry, thanks for clarifying.

Btw, crossposting the same thing in different forums is not allowed on VB.

I click the 'new posts' button also and click on whatever interests me.. so yes I do read it, but I don't purposely click on it and read through all of the posts, not that I'm against reading them either.

Yeah. I prefer the vegetarian one though.
