Now..I'm not mad at him for being atheist and me believing in God. It's this *Right here*, this video...that pissed me off. I can't believe that! He's made another video about vegetarianism too (like a skit)..and it was pretty bad..but this..it's just disgusting.

The Amazing Atheist is just an ass who likes to get attention, he's kind of entertaining sometimes but mostly he's kind of pathetic.

The fat lonely nerd is bashing vegetarians, oh no!

I lol'd at his idiocy.

I lol at everyone who tries to get famous by sitting in front of a camera talking about their unpopular views. Although Chris Crocker is interesting. The rest of them are pretty boring.

I'm sorry I watched it...this just reaffirms my belief that certain people would benefit enormously from getting the crap beat out of them. I'm pretty sure that would balance out karmically speaking.

Thank you all for the replies.

I'm not even vegan [yet] (what he was mostly talking about) and it was still offensive, with him saying "Even more of a whoose".

What a jerk.

I don't know when it was decided that that guy putting his face in front of the camera, instead of just providing voiceover, would be a good idea. But I can say that I was not in that meeting.

Oooh. You're on to something. A mocking video where we score and rack up how many times he says that.

That lardass gives all of us science-minded types and non-theists a bad name. He also (as a guy with way too many subscribers) has undue influence with that demographic.

We can only hope the prions get him at every trip to McDonald's.

It's so over the top I can't help but think that it's satire. I'm sure the guy does eat meat and cheese but his nihilistic position seems to be a critique of America's "ME" attitude rather than an endorsement of it. Just my take anyway.

The comments upset me even more. Listen to this jackass who posted just a few minutes ago:

Quote:
Animals can suffer, but they are totally pointless.

If there were no humans around to take notice of them their existence would be made all the more pointless.

A cow is never going to look at the stars or write a book about its history.

Animals can suffer, which I would say should be limited.

But aside from that ability, they are totally pointless.

Not to say I don't think nature should be preserved as well, but come on.

Animals don't give a **** if you do or don't eat them.

Quote:
Vegetarians and their concern for animals is idiotic.

There's no concern for the millions of living plants killed to be consumed.

The millions of bacteria haphazardly annihilated.

Animals can't care about themselves.

Animals don't think like we do.

Animals can't think like we do.

They don't have plans, they don't care.

They are like big bacteria that exist for no purpose.

To say animals want to live, shouldn't be eaten, etc, is to anthropomorphize them.

Quote:

And I bet they'll die earlier, unless they start taking alot of supplements or eating meat as they get older.

Ah, without fail, someone mentions someing about the millions of plants. All these people never seem to realise that plants don't have a nervous system. Is it reeeaally so hard to understand?!

"They are like big bacteria that exist for no purpose."

How nice we have such an educated person to inform us who has a purpose and who doesn't. Maybe s/he could have the answers to other existential questions too - like the meaning of life. Such a guru. /sarcasm

The ultimate irony here is that without bacteria this person and all of us would be dead. But don't let science get in the way of a good argument.

So it's a little gross, and he's kind of dumb (and his voice reminds me a little of Seth Rogen).

But I honestly don't find him offensive, he's just...a person, about whom I don't care either way.

I know this is an awful thing to say but his dad probably had a heart attack from eating meat...Still sad, but probably true.
