Anyone see the Bacon Salt ads on here? I'm not complaining, I just thought it was a weird and funny ad... Everything should NOT taste like bacon, btw Bacon fries, bacon corn, bacon bacon!

I make cheesy scalloped potatoes with the soy baco bits. They are amazingly delicious that way.

That sounds lovely, what cheesy sauce do you use?

One I make myself, with nutritional yeast, ground cashews and coconut oil. Sometimes, (especially when cooking for omnis) I use Vegan Gourmet cheese in there too.

I figured it was, that's why I wasn't complaining... but seriously, bacon flavored stuff... odd. My sister sells Tastefully Simple and they have a vegetarian Bacon Bacon dip. It's interesting. I love bac'n bits, but seriously, they make me burp

Yes, it is, when it's organic/non-GMO/free from HFCS and partially hydrogenated oils!

Just kidding. The bac'n pieces I have have hydrogenated oils. I won't be buying them again, yuck. They're only in my house because my sister needed them for the dip for her daughters birthday party.

I wonder if those are the kind I bought at the HFS a while back. The ones I bought were horrible though.. I still have them. I'm looking at the bag now (bought it from a barrel). They are probably another brand though. I like bac'n pieces on baked potatoes
