I just thought of a new feature, but I'm not sure if it is possible. Could we somehow chose which smilies are in the box to the right? It always takes me a while to find them when I click "more" and the new window pops up. It would be nice to have the smilies I use most often conveniently at hand.

There's no way to do that with this software. They're currently displayed at random. I don't know if bookmarking this page would help...

Or you could just do what I did, memorize them all.

You could also memorize the most frequently used ones. They're all pretty descriptive/memorable.

Why didn't I think of that?

*makes flashcards of VB smilies*

*Just kidding*

I'll memorize them if I use them often enough. Repetition, repetition.

eta: the above is what I knew off hand.

I thought the second one was a normal wink, but apparently it's a suggestive eyebrow raise!

Some sites allow users to upload their own smilies which is kind of cool. Unfortunately with the size of this board even if we limited it to a adding a couple of smilies each it would quickly grow out of hand.

Love the post? Why not buy the T-shirt!

I remember about half of them, and since I can't put more than six smilies on one post, I will post my favorite ones.

Back in the early days, we were allowed to use smilies from other boards and smilie sites.

I really miss Smilie Wars!! we got really really obnoxious about ti. This was back in the days where there were only a few hundred members here, there's no way we could do that now...
