Assuming that most of us rely on money to survive, and that most of us therefore have or are seeking employment, preferably in a vegan/vegetarian environment, would it not be nice to have a forum where we can discuss and post employment opportunities?

I'm assuming that there isn't one as yet for the simple reason that specifically-veggie jobs are few and far between. However, I have one (offering $20-50K per year) and can find nowhere sensible to post it! Were I to post it in an existing forum, it would be "off topic", and unlikely to be seen by job seekers specifically.

Alternatively, if employment is too specific a topic for a forum, how about a general "Notices and Ads" forum? I'm sure many of us have things to sell, trade or generally bring to others' attention.

Just a suggestion!

(By the way, if any US vegans are interested in my job opportunity here in Hawaii, click here: http://www.diagnose-me.com/vegan_job.html)

I posted a job in the Veggie Patch yesterday. Maybe we could pre-fix our thread titles with JOB OPENING: or something similar to draw attention.

Unfortunately I don't think there would be enough activity in a forum like that. It would probably get the best response in the Veggie Patch.
