Ok, I'm going through my pm's... answering the ones that need to be answered, deleting the ones that I no longer need... and I thought now that spring is here I'd encourage you all to do a little spring cleaning of your pm box.

So if you have pm's that you've been putting off responding to or no longer need... Clean 'em up!

Be sure to check your "sent items" folder, your saved folder, and any additional folders you may have created.

Done. I've now deleted the three PMs that I have received since being a member here at VB. Okay, I'm exaggerating. I've gotten eight or nine in the past year.

I'll admit I usually need a "cool down" period before reading yours.

That's okay. I just delete yours. I have a couple of blanket apologies I cut and paste to make you think I read them.

Example:

Michael -

Sorry for the (ruckus)/(board war)/(argument)/(wet tee-shirt contest) I started on the board.

It was because of (1vegan)/(cactus)/(alcohol)/(psychological trauma as a child).

I know I need to control my (temper)/(deviant impulses)/(bladder)/(tricks) better.

I will try to refrain from making further comments regarding the (ugliness of the Nelson children)/(marital status of 1vegan's parents)/(results of someone else's VD tests).

I'll keep you posted, and let you know how this works out for me. Thanks!

I try to clean as I go, but I get so little positive feedback on a daily basis, that I like to cherish all the nice comments people send me.

By the way, you can backup pm's to your computer. If you have ones you want to save then you don't have to worry about them taking up space in your pm box.

If you write Shark Attack 4, I will send you a PM every day telling you how swell you are. I *may* even include pics of me in my Hello! Kitty slippers.

Yeah, I did that a couple of times before my inbox grew.

Shark Attack 4: The Ocean Strikes Back... It'll be an environmental message.

As long as a big shark (or sharks) eats at least 20 people, I am down for anything.

There actually is an environmental/ethical message in 1 and 2.
