So that's the reason why you're pouting.

there's nobody here. it doesn't mean the same thing. it's like your big interview with some local cable access show.

i'm sorry but give the board some time to recover.

Hey, there's a few people I know that haven't been interviewed.

Did you write the book of love, and do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so? Do you believe in rock Ân roll,
Can music save your mortal soul, And can you teach me how to dance real slow?

I'm sure there will be a new round of interviews soon. What has happened in the past is, there would be a lot of interest in the interviews for a month or two, then people gradually stopped participating, and interest would fade. this has happened every time we've done them. so, we let them rest for several months, and then start fresh, with new energy and new people, until the interest declines again, and we retire them for a while.

It sux when you're being interviewed, and it seems that no one cares.

That makes sense.. But it's also been awhile since we've had somebody. Any idea on when there will be another interview?

Is that a pout? I always saw it as the ghost of a smile.

Usually one of the mods will get the process started. Let the new Board software settle, and see how they want to handle it. Continue to let them know, with this thread, that it's wanted, and that there will be widespread participation.

I think we've done four (maybe five?) different interview cycles so far. We have a lot of new members, so it's worth doing again.

View it in light of the comments, and it's definitely more of a pout.

I never became interviewed so I hacked VB and removed it.

Feel free to post ideas on improvement of the interview threads here. We'll try again in September after the board's been back to normal for awhile, and people are back from holidays/vacations (August is often a slowwww month).

I think it should be star of the month or perhaps fortnight, rather than week. Gives people more time to come up with interesting questions and answers, and also keeps it a bit fresher.

The problem is that this doesn't seem to happen. We've had sometimes when we let the interviews run longer, because of a late start or a holiday, etc. They always poop out near the end.

I'm going to scout around at other boards and see what they do.
