My doctor tells me I'm anemic apparently I don't have enough iron but I'm not sure what foods have more iron and I always forget to take pills.. not just iron pills but just pills in general. So.. what should i do?

Great list, cstadt. Also, if you have vitamin c (like a glass of orange juice) when you eat foods with iron you'll absorb more of the iron.

also, dont take your iron along with a multi or calcium pill. Even if you dont manage to get your iron EVERY day, get it when you can. It can be rough on the stomach tho, so dont take it on an empty stomach.

Get a cast iron pan to cook with.

Thanks for the list it's great! Also thanks to everyone for the help - I normally did take my iron pill on an empty stomach along with my multi vitamin. Soo now i know not to do that! I kind of forget to eat sometimes too.. haha.. soo.. I think i will set an alarm on my cell phone or something reminding me because i always have my cell on me.
