Can somebody give me the straight dope on eating bean sprouts? Im getting very confusing and conflicting information about bean sprouting. Every website I go to says something different. It seems that almost all beans can be sprouted, but that most of them can not be eaten uncooked. Is this true? If this is true, which ones can I eat uncooked? Im primarily interested in garbanzos, adzuki, and lentils. Are all of these OK to eat raw? Can anybody point to a reliable and authoritative list of what I can and cant eat raw?
