OK, this is really minor, but it's been drawing my notice for a while: The "drool" smiley, which appears to be meant to imply hunger, yumminess, etc., well ... am I the only one who thinks it's a little too, um, green?







He looks to me like he has a high temperature and is about to...

Agreed, Drooling Smilie looks somewhat seasick.

i don't mind that smilie so much but since this was brought up, the smilies for the comments on the photo album annoy the heck out of me. those little winking yellow faces.. grrr.. can't it use the same smilies as the rest of VB?

When we upgrade, there will be a new list of smilies. We'll also be taking steps to ensure that the smilies in the album match the ones on the board.

Drool smilie does look ill. I thought it was supposed to, though.



Tame smilie flickers... is it just my browser, or does it flicker for everyone? I find it most annoying.



I would really like to see a coffee mug as well as a beer mug.



and are two of my favorites, though I don't use stinkeye often.

There will be all new smilies on the new board. That mean some old favorites will be going away.



But don't think of it as losing old smilies, think of it as gaining new smilies. There's like 50 of them!

only annoys me because it flickers in my browser. Someone else told me it doesn't flicker in theirs, though. Once I get around to upgrading, my annoyance will be gone... you'll just have to try harder!

Borealis... the Tame icon is animated... there is a little puff of smoke from the cigarette (or is that a cigar?) that floats up. But other than the animated smoke... the smiley itself is pretty static.

Not in my browser ( Netscape 6.2). The puff floats up, then the head disappears, then it appears again half a second later. Trust me.

Oat, that last one is just creepy. But that catloaf is so cute!



I have no suggestions. But definitely a tame smiley, and you have to have a hugging smiley. I hug way too much to not have one.
