Why Grown Men Lust for Teenagers

First of all, "perfectly nice and normal men" don't do this, in my experience.



It is often an expression of an unhealth dynamic, a pathology that is rooted in imbalance.

Being able to be the "first one" to introduce sex to a girl is exciting for many men.



Longing for one's own youth.



Young=pretty=good in our society.

Why do we like new cars better then "aged" ones? Because its new. They hasnt been used much. They look thet best. They run the best.

Cuz no matter how old and gross a guy gets he thinks he is still hot sh1t and any woman would be willing to throw themself at him. Pretty much they are delusional and don't care to step into reality.

I'm not allured by teenage girls in any way, shape or form. I prefer a WOMAN, thank you very much. I really don't know at what age they stop becoming girls and turn into women, but its kinda like that Supreme Court justice's opinion of obscenity - I can't define it, but I know it when I see it.

Some of the "teens" those guys are looking at are actually airbrushed women in their 30s.

Isnt this actaully something good? In an era where a lot of women complain about their bodies in disgust of what they see in the media these men can remain confident. I know a lot of women who i think to be "hot sh1t" but they believe they are overweight, have to many wrinkles, not big enough breasts.....it goes on and on.

I think in general that men think they look better than they do, and women think they look worse than they do. I wonder why men will trade up for a younger model, too.

The guys I know are more insecure about their appearance than any women I know. Aging hits them just as hard as it hits us.

Yeah, all the creepy 20-35 year old men that try to hit on me and my friends. GOD DAMN IT WE'RE ONLY 14!! Jeeze, it's really gross.

Not to defend older guys or anything, but 14 year olds don't really look 14 when they gob makeup on and wear belly shirts with low rise jeans. Now, if you told them how old you are and they still hit on you, well that's another story. But the way some of the young girls dress and make themselves up nowadays screams "look at me...look at me".

Have you SEEN some of those "girls"? I can see the appeal. They are absolutely stunning. I think there is something very wrong when people can't just notice how beautiful they are without putting them in degrading situations and treating them as objects though.



My son recently developed a crush on a 12 year old girl in his class. I was curious so one day I asked him which one she was and he pointed her out. There she was, flawless skin, shiny hair, bubble-butt, firm and perky and wearing a skirt that I know is not allowed at thier school, but apparently that is not enforced. I swear she looks 17 or 18. I think it is a bit much to expect people to not look at her and admire her but I think something is broken when some people think it is OK to leer at her or harass her. My son informed me that one of the male teachers at his school spends all day flirting with 7th and 8th grade girls and letting them get away with murder. grrrrrrr.



I notice and appreciate hot young guys but that does not keep me from enjoying more mature men too.



That said, if my husband "couldn't get enough" of that kind of stuff and seemed really focused on it and not able to appreciate a wide range, I would be upset.

Inappropriate. I'd ask to do a "sit in" and visit my son's school and just be a visible "fly on the wall". Then, I'd report that Teacher for his inappropriate boundaries. This Teacher is part of the problem- girls are taught from a young age by both authority figures and society to be sexualized and to mainipulate using charm, sex appeal and whining. It's so patheric.

All through my early teens, I was somewhat a tease and behaved fairly promiscuously...this is not to say I had sex with a lot of men, but had my friends not been around to 'save' me on a few occassions, the tally would certainly be higher...

My point is just that older men do indeed hit on teenage girls. When I was 14, a 54 year old man tried to get to move in with him, a 35 year old man talked to me about nasty stuff on the internet, I met up with a 35 year old man at a campground (who luckily was decent enough to let me go when I got uncomfortable), and when I was 14 I lost my virginity to a guy who was 18, two guys aged 18 and 21 tried to have a threesome with me.....A year ago, when I was 17, a 30 year old said she would come visit me so we could get it on, and I just had a little relationship with a 30 year old.

My point here is that there are many nasty older men who will definatley sleaze up on younger girls and who obviously want to. Now I date a 17 year old, I feel like a cradle robber.

I agree that they are beautiful no doubt. It's disturbing though to see girls that young dressing like they are auditioning for the latest Snoop video. And all that eyeliner on 12 and 13 year olds...they need to give it a rest. Kids want to grow up too quick in my opinion.



If say, a hot 22 year old guy is checking out a girl who looks 18 but is really 13 because she's tried to make herself look more mature, is that his fault? And I wonder if she would really tell him the truth about her age? I've read here on the boards that alot of the young girls lie about their age.



I think both sides in some cases, not all, are at fault (I have a feeling I'm going to get flamed for this but it's the truth).



Me and my man were shopping last year at the mall. He was sitting and waiting for me to come out of a chothes store. He said some girl who looked like she was in her 20's dogged him and was like "what are you looking at". He told me she had a belly shirt on and a skirt that if it'd been any higher would have been illegal in public. But, there was something written on the front of here shirt and something written on the butt. He was trying to read what it said..maybe he was checking her out too. Who knows..the thing is, she was dressing for attention obviously. My opinion is that when people dress for attention, they really can't pick and choose who the attention is from. They can obviously say no to advances and whatnot, but to people looking? That's kind of hard to control. Even I look sometimes because I'm like, WTF is she thinking...she's just a baby.

Around here, especially in summer and school holidays (most of which are during summer), they look like a bunch of Britney Spears wannabes.



And then there's things like the Olsen twits... I mean twins, selling push-up bras for 8 year olds.

Personally, all of my life I have found women in their 30's and 40's who stay in shape physically/mentally to be the sexiest.



One nice thing about being the age I am now is that these women will actually pay attention to me now

- midlife crisis and dreaming of the kind of green pastures lost in the past

- looks

- lack of confidence ( younger women are easier to impress )

It's not just girls who dress older that get hit on by older men. When I was in middle school and high school, I got hit on all the time by them, especially male teachers (and never by guys my own age ). I was really shy and self-conscious, and I never wore revealing clothes or even makeup. There was this really gross pervy teacher who use to write me notes and tell me he wished he were my age and that he appreciated me like none of the boys my age could. I'm sure I could have gotten him fired, but I was way too unsure of myself to even think about that.

Isn't it biological that people look their best in their late teens and early twenties? So it seems it would be natural for people to be attracted to people who are looking their best. They also exhibit hyper sexuality at those ages, dressing sexier, talking sexier, and always thinking about sex when they're in that 16 to 24 age range it seems like. Biologically they might even be giving off more pheremones that attact others to them.



Lusting after someone in their late teens or early twenties doesn't seem unnatural to me. But lusting after someone in their earlier teens and younger is complete different because none of that same stuff applies. At this stage it seems it's more psychological or mental, and they should seek professional help before it turns into full blown pedophelia.



Personally though I have to say I ended up cancelling my subscription to Freshmen Magazine about two years ago because the guys in that [adult] magazine (ages 18 to 23) where just looking way too young for my tastes. My own lusting ages seems to be proportionate to my own age.
