Vegan Work Boots...

I work in the construction and renovation aspect of the swimming pool industry and footwear is important to me to say the least. I need boots for work that will hold up to the beating I will put them through but they also need look good. Outside of the Vegan 1460 Dr. Marten's (which I love) all the non-leather boots I've found either look cheap or just ugly. I did'nt really want to wear the Doc's to work because it would seem a shame to detsroy such nice boots. Anyone know of any tough, yet good looking, Vegan work boots for a guy that actually works? Tanks

Yeah, the hardest thing is to find ones that aren't ugly.

Palladiums makes very affordable canvas boots which were used in the French Foreign Legion so they should be pretty tough

Brave Gentleman also makes a moc toe boot, although i don't know what kind of abuse it's designed to stand up to.

Thanks for taking the time to respond...The Brave Gentle Man ones are pretty awesome. I may have to give them a try.

I have a pair of these, though I only need to wear them occasionally:

They have got me through site safety training at work, where the person running the course treads on your toes to check that you are wearing steel toe-capped boots.

I own a pair of those, the model name is Palladium Baggy.

They are both comfortable and good-looking, but are quite useless during fall/winter (which is the season when you actually need work boots): being one layer of canvas, they don't give your feet much needed warmth.

Wearing two pairs of socks might help.

UPD: And they are certainly not steel-toed.
