Been a veggie in Leeds UK for over 20 years and around 16 of those years as a vegan.

Hello and welcome to Veggieboards, fellow vegan.

I became vegan in September 1996, so did you become vegan at the same sort of time?

I have the dubious "pleasure" of living in Middlesbrough, so i'm not too far away.

Hi CG and vincent. (You seem strangely familiar CG.....)

Sorry to be a source of disappointment imagineaa.

I think I went vegan on New Years Eve 1996 having been veggie for around 5 or 6 years. Just wished I'd been brought up vegan from birth but it took me over 40 years to get here. Leeds is quite poor for veg*ns and I guess that Middlesbrough is the same?
