I started reading this book last week and can't put it down. It all makes so much sense. I haven't fully adopted the diet, but am cooking some of his recipes sporadically. Applying a scientific...

I like these spicy nuggets on my salad. They're great by themselves too. Texture is pretty good for a meatless product, but the real standout is how much buffalo flavor they pack in a tiny nugget.

The website Happy Cow <---check out that link, has a list of natural food stores AND Vegan friendly restaurants. I'm not sure where South Hills is because Pittsburgh is 200+ miles from me, but I was out there last weekend and went to the restaurant EDEN. and it was amazing and had raw vegan desserts! Wonderful
Good luck! You will find there are many "regular" things you can still eat as a vegan with just a few substitutions (or none)!

Trader Joes is a good place to shop in the South Hills area for Vegan foods and they're pretty reasonable with prices. Also, most of their products are organic. It's located on Rt. 19, near South Hills Village Mall.
