I wont be shopping there anymore. I was a regular customer as a vintage collector.

Im always confused why Christians use the bible to defend their bigotry towards homosexuals. Theres nothing in these fictitious books even about homosexuality...

I am sorry but the Bible is very clear on its not a Christian behavior however, its not a Christian behavior to to judge people. I am still donating to them to help the poor families have a Christmas and to feed them.

I'd be interested in that information too (what the Bible says about homosexuality). The New Testament in particular. Not that I'm a Christian, just something I'm curious about.

For what its worth I would donate to them too PVL.

They do a lot more good works than most people know.

I know I already told you about this Renee, but there was a guy who sat across the salvation army bell ringer with a sign that said something to the effect of "They hate me. I'm gay." With an arrow pointing to the Kettle.


Well, he has since grown quite the following and now there are 5+ sign holders at my local store. While I can feel kinda bad for the poor bell ringers who are the brunt of signs, it's a necessary message, people should know to whom their money goes.

In Judaism lesbianism goes against the modesty laws, even though there is nothing explicitly against lesbianism anywhere.

Eh, I can't think of anything a'tall in New Testament, but especially on that topic of males, there's Genesis 38:8-10 "Judah said to Onan, 'Go in to your brothers wife, and perform your duty as a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother.' Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brothers wife, he wasted his seed on the ground in order not to give offspring to his brother. Not only does lesbianism seem to be okay with God based on those quotes, it seems to be mandatory. He apparently wants the men straight and the women lesbian.

Yes you are correct, I believe that people are using that verse to slam gays and lesbians in this modern age and in Matthew 7 it says don't judge no one unless you want people to judge you like you judged them.
As someone asked me do I believe in most of the Bible yes I do, do I live most of the Bible I try too but since we are only human we are all sinners. There are no sin greater then another in God's eyes.

Really? I hate lots of behaviors. people hurting animals, people discriminating etc.


But anyways, there is no need to donate to them. There are many organizations that help the poor. So there are many good choices. it is not like everything they get is used to feed the homeless, i wouldn't want to support the organization itself
