Fueled with way too many dark chocolate covered nut stuffed dates (hazelnuts, brazil nuts, macadamia nuts and almonds) my husband and I did a gorgeous 10.74km twilight run.

A sleep in, a nice family lunch, 3 hours spent reading a good book, a run with my sweetheart and knowing I have tomorrow off = a bloody good Sunday

I've noticed since starting oil pulling my endurance and uphill pace has gotten a lot better on my runs. It's probably a psychological affect but it I'm still happy about it.

Good morning runners! I am so excited there is such a long thread to talk about it! I have had hip pain for months, finally went to a doctor who put me on perscription anti-inflammatories. In a week, the hip pain is gone. I am going out for my first run in about a month today...wish me luck! It's beautiful in South Florida this afternoon. Happy Sunday

Have you been fitted properly for shoes. Hip, ankle, knee, lower back, etc...problems are usually caused by improper shoes.

Will try to! Will let you all know how the day went as well.

Did my last "long" run this morning. Was only 8 miles! Seems so short compared to the 20 miles two weeks ago.

I signed up for RunKepper and made a few routes to keep me motivated. It's a nice site!

Oil pulling is using sunflower oil instead of mouthwash for 20min in the morning. I know it sounds strange but there are apparently a lot of health benefits associated with it, OP draws a lot of toxins out of your body, through the mouth. http://oilpulling.com/ I started it because I wanted to draw the toxins from when I was a smoker out.

5 days to go! I'm strangly not worried at the moment, which kind of worries me.

Possibly my last run before the big day will be tonight. Only going to do 4-5 miles.

Got in a 5k yesterday in my new glowing orange trainers. Was great, the dimmer the sky, the brighter they glow. It was raining and it was like they were lighting my path

Had been in bed for 2 days straight so was a bit of a shock to the system. Body wanted to sprint, lungs wanted to stay in bed

You have to post a link or pic to the shoes.

Camera ate up at least 68% of the glow, but you get the idea

Love it Addie!

I'm starting my list of things to take to the marathon. It's quite a long list so far and it's not complete yet!
