I am not crazy! But its not something to worry about, haha.
As for tofu, yeah I'd reheat it a few times, until it got all dry and gross.

|PlaysInFire||The reheating rule applies to meat more than most veg stuff, but also the container/dish. Every dish and utensil the food comes in contact with introduces new bacteria. So, if you had multiple servings and reheated them on a separate dish each time, it would be safer than reheating i the same dish over and over. If you are really worried you could get a food thermometer and make sure the food temp is above 140* That's the temp most bacteria die and food is considered safe. Oh...and rice just has a short shelf life after it is cooked....no danger, just dry.|

the guidelines [in my country anyhoo] recommend that it isnt safe for you to reheat food that youve already reheated. but 9 times outta 10 you could probably do it and get away with it its not a risk i ever run tho.

|reachforapeach||Oh my god it's tofu not radioactive waste!! Sure it's fine. If it wasn't fine, that would make me rethink everything I've ever found in the back of my fridge and ate without question.|

Hmm..I've always reheated things with rice including takeaway. What would make it harmful?

|Pirate Ferret||I thought there was something about rice you aren't meant to reheat? or is that only takeaway rice|

Most food-safety rules regarding reheating involve meat! (because of bacterial concerns)
As long as it doesn't involve meat or much cheese/milk/yogurt -- then reheating and eating it cold is fine!
I do this to pasta, breads, rice, etc all the time and they are absolutely fine to eat!

|Loulelou||Thanks! I was worried I was going to have to throw it away, because it was very yummy!|

|MrFalafel||Sure. Reheating doesn't do anything to it. It's fine.|
