AspiringBuddha Here's one from my mom. It's really simple and delicious:

6 oz can tomato paste
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp crushed oregano
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced

Mix in a small saucepan over medium heat, cook until heated through.

I can put variety of things on top like corn
I love corn on pizza! Given the reaction I get, I was beginning to think I was alone in that.

Does anyone have a good pizza sauce recipe they'd be willing to share?
I haven't made it in quite a while, and while I did write it down, the computer that is saved on is broken, so ...

Totally from memory, so quantities probably need adjusting:

28 oz can CRUSHED tomatoes
tsp salt
tsp driedbasil
tsp dried oregeno
tsp fennel seed
5 cloves minced garlic
tblsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp sugar
tsp red pepper flakes

Mix together, stick in fridge for a day or so for flavors to meld

VeeChloe I usually like to put a lot of things on the top of my pizza. So I make a nice sauce from whole tomato, olive oil, garlic, fresh basil leafes (thinly sliced) and a bit of sugar.

Then I can pour this over the pizza and I can put variety of things on top like corn, mushrooms, olives, beans etc. Also then in the family everyone can choose what they like

Searching for good Pizza sauce recipe

I recently had a frozen pizza which was great. It was called American Flatbread Farmer's Tomato Pie. I was surprised how good it was. I will get another but am concerned with fat amt. it had and want to make my own using whole grain flat bread.

Does anyone have a good pizza sauce recipe they'd be willing to share?
