I dunno, but it'll take a lot to get me to enter a McDonald's.

McD's fries are made with beef, so they aren't even vegetarian, let alone vegan.
BK fries are supposedly vegan. Never heard of them having a spicy bean burger, so I can't comment on that. Their veggie burger is Morningstar Farms, though, so it has egg in it.

I am fairly certain that in Fast Food Nation (the book) that McD's did away with beef tallow in their fry grease...
Its actually on the fries in the US:
French Fries:
Potatoes, vegetable oil (canola oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, natural beef flavor [wheat and milk derivatives]*), citric acid (preservative), dextrose, sodium acid pyrophosphate (maintain color), salt. Prepared in vegetable oil ((may contain one of the following: Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness), dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent). *
CONTAINS: WHEAT AND MILK (Natural beef flavor contains hydrolyzed wheat and hydrolyzed milk as starting ingredients).

The beef isn't in the oil, it's in the natural flavoring in the fries themselves.

In the UK mcdonnalds fries ARE vegan.
Burger kings vegetarian burgers were vegetarian society approved last time I checked, which means they should have good information as to if they're vegan or not if you don't have cheese or mayo.

Here in Norway there are NO vegetarian (and forget about vegan!!) burgeroptions in either BK og McD. All their burgers have meat/fishpatties.
