I was at the store today and just for the heck of it decided to look at the ingrediants again on 8th Continent. It looks vegetarian at least! I remember last time it had whey or milk solids...but this time I didn't see any and that it was made from soy ingrediants listed only. Does anyone else know about this?

Wasn't the problem with 8th Continent that they use(d?) Vitamin D3 (=animal derived)?
"I am an animal. Hath not an animal eyes? Hath not an animal hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions; fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer as a human is? If you prick us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh? If you poison us do we not die?"

Yes, it's the use of Vitamin D3. But what's frustrating is that they hide this and just put "Vitamin D" on their label. You have to contact costumer support in order to find out that it's D3 made from animal sources. It's just simply deceptive and misleading.

Last time we had this discussion (http://www.veggieboa...http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=5284) it only said "Vitamin D" on their website too. At any rate, I've asked them again if it's from an animal source, and asked them to please write that on their labels.
