Due to the amount of coverage, I'll only provide the e-mail that gave me the links. I was already a registered member, but you'll have to register to read the articles at the site. It's very much worth doing, and you can opt out of receiving any third party mailings during the process.

The Magazine section of the Sunday, October 5, Chicago Tribune has a huge spread on vegetarianism. The spread includes:

The introduction to the Magazine's focus on vegetarianism:

A lengthy article headed "The Meatless Wonders," which looks at the change in vegetarian food over the last few decades, points to how delicious some of the current choices are, and explores reasons for choosing or shunning vegetarianism:

"Confessions of a Carnivore," an odd and unfortunate article by a man who abandoned meat nineteen years ago after picking up a copy of Animal Liberation, but has just started eating it again.

And "Pass the vegetables, please! A tour of five regular restaurants where eating vegetarian could really grow on you":

Please take this wonderful opportunity to write a veg-friendly letter to the Chicago Tribune.
The Tribune takes letters at: ctc-TribLetter@Tribune.com
or
http://www.chicagotr...http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/letters/chi-lettertotheeditor.customform

Always include your full name, address, and daytime phone number when sending a letter to the editor. Shorter letters are more likely to be published.

Good idea, Kreeli. My pleasure to share the articles. I was bummed by the 19-year-long vegetarian writer that now raves about eating meat again. Those people frustrate me the most, I think. The attitude always comes off unpleasant to me.

Thank you for putting the links to the various articles (don't know if I'd have been able to find them on the site myself) :)
