I don't know if there's been a thread started on this yet, but I recently saw a preview for a kid's movie (animated) about the animals of the forest who have had enough of being hunted and turn on the humans who enter their domain to kill them.
Interesting, though the preview was too short for me to really form an opinion. I'm sure, as discussed in other recent threads, some parents will take their kids to the movies to see this, then head on over to Gander Mtn. for some hunting supplies...
At least in western PA anyway, where kids are off school for the first day of buck season. It's a holiday. Seriously.
Movie about animal revenge on hunters

Hmmmm That can be a rather provocative movie...
"People that hate cats will come back as mice in their next life." - Faith Resnick
"Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death." - Auntie Mame
Dogs have masters, cats have staff.
The best things in life are chocolate!

When are all the rabbits and squirrels gonna get revenge on the cats and dogs?
Although newly sprouted pea plants are naturally carnivorous, the can thrive without insects in their diet; they will thrive green manures, turned in cover crops, and composted plant matter, even in their earliest stages of development.

I did see a preview for that movie. I think the movie looks funny, but then I've been a fan of many animated comedies (Toy Story, the Incredibles).
Adults may just watch it, get a kick out of it, but not take it seriously. Young kids though may take it more seriously and get more out of it, since they are still developing their ideas about the world and society.

Actually, there are a number of cartoons with the theme of the hunted turning on the hunter, within the animal kingdom. Think Tweetie Bird and the Roadrunner, for two.

You forgot to mention that the movie will be released in a very short amount of time -- September of 2006!
