I ate there many years ago. A truly wonderful experience. The trick is to try something totally off the wall on the menu and let the chefs surprise you.

I think I'd go with the Arapas Mojo followed by the Tandoori Tattie :D

Arapas Mojo (v/gf/ta) £8.00
Corn cake frits stacked and rolled in chemoula with carib and tamarillo salsa, splashed with lime oregano mojo, finished with avocado spice smash and chilli chelly.

Tandoori Tattie (gf/vo) £13.95
Crispy fried potato rosti topped with tandoori halloumi or tandoori smoked tofu served with mangosteen dahl, red capsicum cardamon sauce, mango tango and onion salad.

I've eaten there a few times; never fails to impress - one of my fave Veggie places in the Country - alas about 150 miles too far from where I live to visit regulalrly. Didn't know they'd made a cookbook however.

I pass it every time I'm in Brighton, but it's way over-priced and the menu doesn't appeal to me that much. I will take a look at the cook book though :)

Hi, over the last 12 months we (Terre a Terre) have made every effort to offer our customers menus to suit any budget from £12.50 for 3 courses.... we currently have a seasonal menu 2 courses for £15 or 3 for £21 or why not try the Sharing Tapas, Chips and Wine Carafe menu for £15 a head...http://www.terreater...http://www.terreaterre.co.uk/_pages/02_food/02_menus.htm
We will be running more great value menus in the New Year and menus change every 2-3 months so you should find something you fancy!

I've eaten there lots of times and it's fabulous. It isn't over-priced. It's expensive certainly, but when you see what gets put onto your plate you can see where your money is being spent. A wonderful option for a special meal.

I've been there quite a few times because I live in Brighton right now, but it is overpriced and I honestly don't like the mains that much. But the soups are wonderful, I wish there was more variety and theres not much as far as desserts go for vegans.
