So here's what I just made.. (quitting smoking needed a snack!)
I substituted two things in this recipe - one the honey for pure cane sugar (liquid) and I also did not have enough almond butter so I used PB (I'd uusally have chickpea butter around but I will try that next time because I think it would turn out great in this recipe.
Overall 10mins ~ to make including time from roasting the almonds to mixing and putting in the fridge. Just tasing the 'batter' I can say these are well worth it and inexpensive (unless you go with almond butter all the way, in my area it's fairly expensive, albeit I'm sure I could find it cheaper).
Anyway - the chickpea butter is good and I love it more than PB anyway so maybe try that if you're down $$$.
