It's delicious. Had it twice within 3 days. Sadly, it's a temporary item in the restaurant. The fact that restaurant is just a 5-10 minute drive from my house is a financial crime lol.

WHAT?? You can't get a pizza and not eat the entire thing.

okay so we just had steel cut oats for brekkie and I took a great pic of mine and had to celebrate being able to post pic's now by posting it...

base of Canadian Wild Blueberries still frozen
steel cut oats cooked with goldenberries and frozen cranberries
topped with more (thawed overnight) frozen berries, walnuts, turmeric, flax meal, cocoa powder, PB powder
and then drizzled with a bit of tahini - soooo good!

Yesterday just water and herbal tea as I did a second 36 hour water fast.
Feeling peckish this morning, will probably have some wholewheat toast and yeast extract.
Later we're having tofu millet patties served with stir fried rice and veggies.
I'll probably keep it light today.

Breakfast: blackberry pancakes with coconut whipped cream, some grapes, strawberries, and blackberries on the side.

Lunch: Guacamole quesadilla, salsa, and some leftover rice.

For dinner I think I'm having a sweet potato 'burger' with some grilled eggplant and zucchini, and maybe some fries on the side.

that sound good callie

Is there a particular recipe you use for your sweet potato burger? I make black bean burgers, haven't done sweet potato ones yet.

Today we had:
B: wild blueberries, banana, flax meal just mixed together
Brunch: shortly after breakfast - toast with canned breakfast beans heated and poured over
Dinner: will be individual pizzas - spinach, red onion, olives, fresh basil, tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes, non-parmesan cheeze sprinked on top

Its technically not even a burger, but that's what I call it. I slice some thick sweet potato slices, brush them with tahini bbq sauce (recipe from veggies don't bite), and grill until cooked. then I put it in a bun and top with some burger fixins. It's really good.

L - Tofu & Sesame patty served with stir-fried vegetables and brown rice
S - Chilled Carob & Banana custard pot
S - Slice of caraway and currant soda bread topped with spread and jam

ah, how interesting, thank you for the idea

I do put grated sweet potato in my bean burgers (I should make some for tonight I think) and my honey has asked me to use soaked steel cut oats instead of rolled oats to see if it gives it more of a meaty texture.

Here is last night's pizza...

Yum yum!

Breakfast today was porridge made with almond milk (bit warm for porridge but I fancied it)

For lunch I made us some Celery, Basmati & Lemon soup. It was really good, link to recipe on this thread: What Did You Cook Lately?

We're having mock tuna, baked potatoes and salad for tea shortly, probably followed by the last of the carob banana custard pots.

Yesterday was a grazing day.

Started with a thick slice of wholemeal soda bread with sunflower butter and jam
Lunchtime I had two pink grapefruits
Mid afternoon I had the last of the carob custard pots (didn't eat it yesterday)
Evening snack was another slice of soda bread with sunflower butter.

my yesterday started with berries, a banana, flax meal, cocoa powder mixed

lunch was a leftover homemade falafell burger covered with lentils, a sweet potato and some tahini

dinner we tried, for the first time, some of the Gardein Mandarin Crispy Chicken on rice with steamed cabbage, carrot, onion and broccoli

they were very good, like General Tso chicken from the old days - not something we will eat often, nice for a change...

Breakfast was some decaf with soy milk, and blackeyed pea soup loaded with diced tomatoes and juice pulp from a carrot/apple/beet/ginger drink from the day before I made and froze the soup.

Tonight’s burrito was filled with brown rice, black beans, half a small avocado, a squirt of lime and commercial salsa. A little bit of cumin and chili powder. No Daiya shredded cheddar, not this time. I’ve been on kind of a burrito kick since watching some YouTube videos on how to fold the tortillas so the filling will stay in and the burritos will look good.

The tortilla shell was oversized, made with white flour. I zapped the burrito in the microwave for a minute and then put it in a heated frying pan. A couple of minutes to crisp up each side, and it was done.

So far, lots of lemon water, some stinging nettle, burdock root, and sarsaparilla sun "tea" infusion, and a "smoothie" made with some mango nectar, frozen bananas, curly kale, hemp hearts, and freshly picked black raspberries.

The rest of the day will be leftover day, working our way through the rest of the giant garden salad topped with some chickpeas and the leftover roasted veggies that include beets, turnips, onions, zucchini, yellow squash, and potatoes, some roasted with avocado oil, rosemary, and garlic, while others had some added balsamic vinaigrette drizzled on top.
