ETA: ok, pictures don't HAVE to be non-funny.........this was just meant as a place to stuff that wouldn't go in the funny veg pics thread.....

Attachment 18127

I put this in the funny veg*n pics thread, but I don't want to spoil that, so here is the non-funny veg*n pics cartoons etc thread.

well, it gets on my nerves when greens eat fish......'tis the UK green party logo......well, maybe it should be.

ETA: perhaps the 'funniness' or 'non-funniness' should be optional in this thread.......I just wanted somewhere I could put my stupid photoshops, or anyone else's.

Yes, I bought some coconut milk powder and that turned out to have milk in it.

What is the name of the company which produces that non-dairy creamers. The def of dairy is "Containing or made from milk." So I assume NON-dairy would mean it isn't dairy.
I want to call them and discuss this.

I hate this! I found out a 'non-dairy' cheese pizza I got once had some casein in it. I looked at the ingredients but didn't see it, maybe I just missed it.

Yeah, it's SO annoying. Don't call something non-dairy and then put dairy in it

Also, loving all these pics, especially the last one

Poor birds. That must really hurt and feel absolutely terrible. I don't get how someone can eat that too, it's just a bunch of fat.

I hate that -.-.. Soy yogurt at the grocery store contains milk (wtf?) The only vegan yogurt I could find was a cultured coconut milk brand and it tasted good actually :O

Why don't people understand that "okay for people who are lactose intolerant" is NOT equal to "not containing dairy"? It's the milk-derived lactose that sets off the allergy, not just any dairy component. They need to start labeling things more accurately.

Seriously. How hard is it to say lactose free? That would be more logical and easy to understand for everyone involved

^ Wow! Now I'm glad I don't live near one of those vegan fantasy stores. If I had that kind of selection, it would take an hour to try to figure out which one processed item I was going to buy for the week.

You live on one processed item... per week?

That makes me cringe just thinking about it...
