Question Poll: Favorite Vegan Snack?!

What is your favorite vegan snack? I love almost anything that is quick, simple and only requires a few ingredients. Where do you find inspiration?

I often snack on nuts- almonds, pecans and especially cashews- and fruit- apples, bananas, watermelon- whatever I can get. I'm also fond of popcorn and corn chips (nachos, etc.)

Vegan snack doesn't have to mean healthy or homemade.

Homemade Chex-mix with tons of vegan Worcestershire sauce and earth balance and chipotle.

Where do you all find recipes for these snacks? Does anybody know of a good website or cheap e-cookbook?

I prefer to use my e-reader in the kitchen while cooking. I have a reputation for spilling and ruining paper books. Plus, it's more sustainable.

Hummus is my favorite food I think, lol. But I eat a lot of almonds, walnuts, peanuts, cashews and pistachios. I hate doing dishes, so I snack a lot. The easier the better.

Oh my gosh, pretty much anything I can get my hands on.
Any kind of sweet or candy is Heaven to my tastebuds.. but I chose fruity smoothies because I can get addicted to those! Frozen banana with cocoa, vanilla and maybe peanut butter? MMM. Always loved things like that and it's much healthier than my sweet tooth leading me to bake a dozen cookies for one. Hahaha. Not that this stops me from baking too much anyway all the time.

Why is the suffering and killing of animals wrong? Because the value of a sentient organism's life is priceless. They are their own beings and have their own lives and loves. They have higher emotions and thought processes. Their minds are different from ours in degree, not kind - meaning that fundamentally there are critical similarities.

Dishes are the bane of my existence. I love hummus, but cashews and peanuts are coming in a close second. I have tried combing the snacks with no luck.

Toast. Topped with peanut butter and/or jam, marmalade, yeast extract, margarine, hummus, vegan cheese, or just on its own with some coffee, you can't beat a nice slice of toast. Unless maybe you have some toasted crumpets.

Fruit is the bomb! I have been keeping a food journal recently to see how I could improve my diet. Turns out, I am lacking in carbs compared to the dqily recommended intake. I've recently started fruit juicing regularly again, since fiber is not a concern.
