I am new to being a vegetarian and am an avid weight lifter. If there are any weight lifters on the board, do you find it hard to get enough protein in your diet?
There are a lot of incredible athletes who are vegetarian and even vegan. Protein isn't a problem if you understand nutrition. Do some internet searches on vegetarian athlete or bodybuilder, and on the vegetarian food pyramid to get a start.
I want to get into Weight Lifting and have recently become a vegetarian. Is Whey protein okay for veggies? Also qourn seems to be fairly high in protein?
Whey comes from cows. It's OK for veggies (technically lacto ovo vegetarians) but not for vegans. You can get all the nutrients in whey in a vegan diet too though.
