I just posted a recipe for cheap, tasty, dairy-free oat milk at EatDrinkBetter.

Cooks like soy or almond milk, in recipes; good on cereal.

Thought I'd share here, too. Hope you like it. :-)

When I mentioned that I was working on a homemade milk post many of you asked for a low-cost and nut-free homemade milk recipe. I decided to put myself to the challenge. Homemade Oat Milk, it is!

First, I’ll show you how I made it with step-by-step photos and at the end of my post I’ll share my thoughts on flavour, price, texture, and overall pros and cons.

I like it too! I think at least--certainly want to try!
Sounds like you could whir up the oat flour in a mini blender and store for a 'instant' type milk for cereal-or maybe add to the cereal and add water?

I like to keep cold cereal at work and often don't have milk.
