Diet and Mental Health

Before I went vegan, I was depressed, had an eating disorder and mild anxiety. Now, 2 years of veganism later, I have never been happier and am rarely anxious. I noticed this huge change in mental health so I decided to create an experiment to study whether there is actually a correlation between mental health and diet.
What I need from you guys is data! If you could take my anonymous, 36 question quiz it will help me so so much! And by taking the quiz, you are contributing crucial knowledge to the scientific world. It asks straightforward questions and it should take no more than 10 minutes to complete I need people of all ages' input so please please consider taking it!

I actually had to stop when I got to 3!
The question is whether you find yourself eating emotionally, even when not hungry or unhealthy foods. The second choice is--
Quote:
I admit I've binged on the occasional Haagen Dazs, but it's not a regular occurrence.
, and the third--
Quote:
yes, I have to admit that my diet is pretty unhealthy.
. I would easily answer the second choice, but won't because of the dairy reference. I feel as if you're lumping all healthy eating with non vegan food choices when thats far from true. I can eat a bag of Wise onion rings and still be vegan. My diet isn't all unhealthy, but I do tend to overeat on things that aren't the best

I did the survey.

It's good that you actually bothered to contribute to other threads when doing this. I'm not sure about all the random digging up of very old threads that goes on all the time mind you.

I also noticed there were some tiny logical imperfections in the survey where occasionally not every response was covered and people might respond and think "what I feel is not covered!".

No big deal. I think you just have to choose the closest one and move on without fretting over the details.

I had the same story. After starting eating clean my mind became more fresh and clear.
