My first vegan meal for my omni family

Not sure if this fits here, but tonight I decided to make dinner for my omni husband and father-in-law. I made the Immunity-Boosting Tomato Sauce with Mushrooms from The Oh She Glows Cookbook (recipe online here) with some plain old linguine noodles. It's simple but I thought it would be better to start with that.

All three of us loved it! My husband even got seconds. They both put cheese on theirs but its a start. I'm really happy they liked it.

That's awesome. It's good you can enjoy the same meals. Maybe eventually they'll decide they can do without the cheese too. But slowly slowly I guess. And thanks for the recipe that'll come in handy for my family xx

Awesome! Hey, when I first started making vegan recipes, I sometimes put cheese on them too. You gotta start somewhere.

My husband puts cheese on a lot of the vegan meals I make. I still consider it a victory, anyway!

You're doing better than me! My other half has added tinned tuna to my amazing vegan stirfry.

I didn't even like canned tuna as an omnivore. I couldn't imagine adding it to a stirfry.

Well I don't think he's going to be adding tuna to a stir fry again (it looked revolting).
