Been looking for CHEAP (I repeat, CHEAP) cruelty-free shampoo for a very long time.

Did a google search and found that Alberto VO5 shampoo and White Rain shampoos are vegan but there are some questions about VO5.

Can someone confirm with 100% certainty that Alberto VO5 is vegan? Thanks.

Thanks for the link but there is nothing in that discussion that answers my question.

On the other hand, IsItHalal.blogspot.com does mention that Alberto VO5 MAY contain animal products:

Animals are not killed for obtaining these ingredients. Some of our products do contain animal ingredients through the raw materials we get from outside sources.

We therefore can not state that our products are animal by-product free.

Can you please comment on the above?

I don't know about that but if any local store sells White Rain products they are animal-friendly/vegan and super cheap

Not everyone has a trader joes around them, or even in their state.
