I'd more be worried about a yeast imbalance, but if you eat that much already and haven't had an issue, I doubt you will.
Edit: I meant to add that I've had a large pack of it in my cupboard for a year. I'm terrified of it. Sorta like seitan and tempeh. It scaresssssssssssssss me.

I'd like to ditto this question...I have a giant giant bag of it just hanging out in my cupboard, still air-tight but not kept cold. Am I okay?
Hmmm, mine usually has an expiration date printed on it. It was definitely within a year of purchase, although I can't remember exactly. I imagine it would keep longer stored in the freezer.
??? It's never given me gas, and we consume a LOT in this house. Maybe you have to build up a tolerance?
And it's not really a "yeast" like active yeasts for breadmaking are - you aren't going to get a "yeast imbalance" from it.
