I have a Black and Decker Flavor Steamer and I can't seem to find my instruction booklet (even though I use it regularly). Does anyone know the quantities of water and rice that you are supposed to use?

Whenever I use my rice cooker, after washing the rice, I add just enough water to come to just past the first knuckle on my index finger, measuring from the top of the rice. That's for white rice anyway; brown rice needs a little more water in my experience.

I'm not sure if thats helpful but it's what works for me!

Asiel -- how much rice do you use for that amount of water?
