Darker The Apple The More Nutritious?
I have read that the most nutrient dense apple widely available is Red Delicious so I have been eating those in particular since an apple is pretty much just an apple to me. Its all in the skin, and as I pick through them would the darkest maroon Red Delicious be the best of the best as far as nutrition? They are anywhere from dark red to almost purple within the same batch sometimes. This seems to be the way it works with the shade of green a leaf is.
