I found this show watching food network the other day that actually had some vegetarian recipes! It's called Sara's secrets and the show was a special on "vegetarian and carnivore" meals. All of the recipes are designed to make for the omni's or meat-eaters in the house and the vegetarians. Awesome if you are always in a dillema with your family on what to eat! It was pretty good. The first recipe Sarah makes is vegan (if i remember right) and is a veggie curry. The second recipe is suitable for lacto-ovo vegetarians and is a custard strata thing. The recipes are on foodnetwork.com and the show airs next Fri. the 24th at 10 a.m. ET/PT if anyone wants to watch.
do you realize this thread is 7 yrs old? And yes they do, but two cupcake winners have been vegan though from Cupcake Wars!
My brand new website for health coaching, and where all of my recipes will reside! www.TheHolisticDragonfly.com My previous food photography and portrait blog: www.creativeinspirationsphotography.blogspot.com https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1435413727
But it brought to mind ... the whole genre of "enjoyable for vegetarians AND meat-eaters!" confuses the heck out of me. Wouldn't this be true of ANY tasty vegetarian dish even without extraneous added meat?

Dave in MPLS, I know what you mean. People are always asking how a person can be veggi/vegan and still eat. just take out meat/ meat products and eat what's left(most of the food pyramid). It's a common sense thing that many people are unable to grasp.
