- salsa

- hummus

- olive oil, salt, and pepper

- Earth Balance (vegan buttery spread)

- BBQ sauce or ketchup

That's what I do, anyway. And you can buy or make vegan sour cream, and there are vegan cheeses on the market too, so you can look into that, too.

You can make quarter-sliced roasted potatoes with oil, garlic, oregano, and lemon juice.

I love chili over a baked potato, or salsa. My gf uses creamy herb salad dressing.

Chili is good. Plain old baked beans work really well. There *is* vegan sour cream made by tofutti which is really good.

and of course, salsa, the King of condiments.

You can get veg. sour cream and cheese too, if that's what you're into.

Mmm, yeah! Baked beans are yummy! Or just about any kind of beans. To me, they make the tater kind of creamy, so I don't have to put lots of butter on it.

tofutti sour cream, with salsa (mrs. renfro's is really good) and a ton of green onions on top.

Totally doesn't even need butter. And I'm a big butter person.

BBQ sauce, salsa, hummus, (especially roasted red pepper flavor), EB & vegan sour cream, vegan baco bits...mmmm.

Now I'm craving a baked potato! I once had a baked sweet potato at a steakhouse, and it had butter and cinnamon on it. Maybe I'll have to try to duplicate that sometime with EB and cinnamon...

We see the world as "we" are, not as "it" is; because it is the "I" behind the "eye" that does the seeing.

I usually have creamed corn, baked beans or refried beans. Or sometimes I have salt, pepper and vinegar.

Tofutti sour cream, nutritional yeast, pepper, and paprika. Good on a baked potato but SO TASTY for a twice baked potato.

I like hummus on mine. I also like El Pato or Italian dressing, too.

I used to do honey and mustard but I don't do that much anymore. I'm wondering if agave necter and mustard would be a good combo? Hmmmm.... *thinks about it*

Baked beans on potatoes? That sounds SO yummy.

Hummus, Earth Balance, chili, refried beans, mushrooms & onions sauteed w/Earth Balance, various sauteed vegetables, Tofutti Sour Cream, and baked beans are all yummy (I don't think I'd try everything all at once, though ).

I'm into making melty cheese sauce and mixing it around with the innards of the potato. Plus tabasco sauce. Those are the best!

Try maple and mustard. It's really a good flavor combination.

I also second the El Pato recommendation. DeeYahMK mentioned it in another thread, so I tried it and now I'm a slave too.

What I like to do is tear up a few peices of soyamage vegan american or tofutti american singles, mix that into the very well mashed potato with salt and margarine, and then top with tofutti sour cream. It's awesome.

Baked potato's would be good with A1 steak sauce, which is vegan I think. Especially mushrooms, margarine and steak sauce..

Alas, A1 is not vegan. There is Worcestershire sauce in it. I used to love that sauce on everything non-steak related.

A1 doesn't contain Worcestershire sauce. It is vegan. Perhaps you're thinking of Lee & Perrins?
