I used some Kal Nutritional Yeast flakes and it's pretty good but almost empty. The places I bought it from on amazon doubled the price, though.
Where do you buy your nutritional yeast flakes from online for a good price? I searched around on amazon because I have prime, but I didn't see anything that stood out as a good value. The one I did find had artificial stuff added to it.
I can find the stuff online, but I don't see why I should be paying through the nose for it.
I always did the same thing you were doing - buy KAL from Amazon. I used to have a Prime membership. Without it the shipping cost of the can is almost as much as the can itself. Sounds like you've discovered this as well. The last order I did I just bit the bullet and paid it, even though it made things MUCH more expensive. I looked around but didn't find a cheaper option. Most places give discounted/free shipping on larger orders, but that didn't help since all I needed was nooch.
Sorry, not really the advice you were looking for, but I share you misery

Wow. That is too much! I get mine in tubs from the refrigerated section of a NFS for $8.59 a lb., sold in different weights.
How far is a store that carries it? Sounds like a road trip!
