Talking Hello World

I am just getting into veggies big time, I am in my late 20s and things have not been going so well. Ive seen a lot of inspirational documentaries and lectures about the benefits of a plant based diet....so here I go! Not that I have a problem with meat, but I never found myself naturally buying meat...its just expensive and requires prep work and so I never made it a stable part of my diet. Therefor I will not have a hard time letting it go, I may miss the occasional hamburger or steak but thats about it. I started doing meal prep with whole foods, and that was when I was going to make an effort to make a small portion of meat part of my "balanced meals" but now I think I will be avoiding it during meal prep and freezer cooking.

Small steps in the right direction! I have TONS of questions which is why I am here!

I am amazed already, just one week of straight plant based whole food meals and my stomach is already grunting at me when I eat something processed. Its almost as if my stomach has raised the bar on me after being blinded to real food for so long!

What brought me here was Dr. Greger's work....anyone familiar with his work here?

I have seen it, watch "Food As Medicine"

I found Forks Over Knives and Plantpure Nation both interesting and inspiring as well.
