Former Flexitarian Recent Vegetarian

I became Flexitarian last year after having a run in with a rather negligent doctor and some health concerns. As the year progressed my stomach became less and less tolerant of meat and even began losing my desire and taste for it. Over the past three months or so I started questioning whether or not eating meat was a me thing to do anymore. I stopped feeling comfortable eating meat, it was just a thing to do because I had done it for so long not something I really cared for doing anymore.

When I reached the point of talking myself into eating meat that's when I quit. I went fully vegetarian this month and couldn't be happier.

Welcome to VB.

My usual answer: I have never heard a convincing reason to eat meat.
