Chuck Palahnuik's book Choke has been made into a movie and will be released in September. I'm a big fan and can't wait! Any other fans out there? I'm pretty interested in how it'll end. The ending in the book was pretty...nasty.

I can see most of his books as movies. He's one of my favourite authors.

I read Fight Club before I saw the film, which was then quite a disappoinment.

I really like Palahniuk.....but I think he hasn't reached his potential as an author yet.

I saw the trailer for that, it kind of disappointed me. Choke was my favorite book i've read out of Diary, Haunted, Survivor, Invisible Monsters, Lullaby and of course Choke.

I'll definitely see it anyways just to see the story for someone else's mind, I find it fascinating how differently one person interprets a piece of literature from the next. Even just hearing the tone in which some of the characters spoke was so different from how I imagined it.

I too saw the trailer and all I can say is yechhhhhhhhhh.

Looks to be as bad as '21' was to 'Bringing Down the House' (which was not that well written, either)

I liked Fight Club as both a movie and as a book. I kind of preferred the ending of the book though, probably too ambiguous or depressing for the average movie producer, though.

I think the movie looks pretty good. I wasn't fond of Rant either. Invisible Monsters was one of my favs though.

Big fan of mr. chuck P

Survivor was my favourite.

Lullaby was excellent (w/ hilarious portrayal of a vegan hipster character).

Diary I also liked a great deal

Rant wasn't great.

Haunted was even worse.

Choke and Fight Club are all worth your time for sure.

Have yet to read Invisible Monsters

I quite liked haunted, at the actual time it was a bit crap to read because of the poems and stuff but looking back it was a good story and I liked the little stories.

I lent it to my ex and he's reading it at the moment (Ive known him 3 years, he's read one book in that time and it was a WoW novel - so i thought id start him on short stories hehe) and enjoying it so that says something haha.

rant is the best. well, three way tie between rant, lullaby, and invisible monsters. i saw him in denver not to long ago, and got his autograph and a set of anal beads. they showed alot more of the movie at the event, and it looks like the ****.

cry havoc! and let slip the dogs of war.

i've read fight club, survivor, invisible monsters, choke. it's not nice to say but I feel like he just keeps writing the same novel.

I wonder what was going on in Harper Lee's head when she just stopped at one novel. ballsy.
