My doctor had been trying to put me on blood pressure medicine for almost a year.. because it was high. I lost weight- it didnt help. I avoided salt - it didn't help. I went vegan and two months later my blood pressure was normal.
My sister is a nurse, smokes, and has high blood pressure. She was on meds for it I think but I don't know if she is not. She's a "vegetarian" but eats a LOT of cheese like many do.
Low fat Whole plant based diet is the best solution for High blood pressure, along with exercise and stress management.
